Swingout

스윙아웃은 린디합의 대표적인 동작입니다. 텍사스토미라는 동작에서 브레이크어웨이가 나오고, 다시 스윙아웃으로 발전하였습니다. 브레이크어웨이와 유사한 스윙아웃이 처음 언급된 기록은, 1911년 샌프란시스코의 페어몬트 호텔에서 공연했던 "텍사스토미 스윙"이었습니다. 스윙아웃의 변형이 자이브, 이스트코스트스윙, 웨스트코스트스윙, 모던자이브에서도 쓰이고 있습니다.

The swingout is the defining dance move of Lindy Hop. The swingout evolved from the breakaway, which in turn evolved from the Texas Tommy. The first documented mention of the swingout pattern that resembles breakaway was in 1911, to describe a "Texas Tommy Swing" show done at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Its variants are used in Jive, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing and Modern Jive.
